Appears to be amateurs with no real vibe or atmosphere in the restaurant. Very pricey for the food you receive. The waiter who initially greeted us was dismissive and rude. I ordered a cocktail which was $18 and it was barely more than shot size and looked like it was just poured out of a bottle. When I asked the waitress about it she said I just made what was on the menu darl, Im not really sure why anyone orders these anyway. My friend had the steak and was only given 10 chips with it. Literally the smallest portion of chips ever for a $35 steak. For the prices charged you expect better service, quality and portions.
Great service, ladies were very busy but still attentive, given it's new year's eve! Great cocktails, really fresh seafood and not too expensive. Definitely would go back, and have already this holiday here.
The Coast Restaurant is located in Great Ocean Road Resort, Angelsea. The environment was comfortable but the food was not very pleasant. The pizza was very ordinary. The fish and chips tasted bad. The size of the fish is as big as the fries. And there were only two to three pieces of fish. It was a bad dining experience in the Coast Restaurant. The ice cream served was not nice.
We were a group of people having dinner and breakfast for 3 days in a row. Breakfasts are not that great but dinners were good. Had beef steaks, lamb cutlet and salmon. It's an average restuarant in total.
Restaurant very busy we had fish of the day for dinner, snapper with vegetables nice. Dessert pavlova was good but the chocolate lava dessert was under cooked.Parking for this restaurant is very confusing they need more signage and painted arrows on the drive,had 3 attempts to find parking.Table numbers for the waiting staff would help efficiently too.
